The title of this site would suggest that it is dedicated to the Third Reich but that is only a part of it. There is a bias towards the Knights Cross holders of the wehrmacht and the waffen SS of Adolf Hitler but that is my area of interest as a collector of their militaria. There will be more allies appearing as I progress with my drawings, RAF pilots, commanding officers and outstanding characters in their fields of operation.
I have also included a section for the Hollywood portrayal of the war and a personal sideline of cop show characters which I have enjoyed through the years.
The majority of the drawings are on A4 size (210x297mm) Winsor & Newton Bristol Board which is 250g/m2 in weight. The final works are sprayed with Winsor & Newton fixative which helps prevent smudges and also contains a UV protection factor.
As a one man operation I cannot monitor the site at all times so any queries during the week will be picked up late afternoon, Northern Europe time and I can also only handle Paypal transactions which is a convenient system.
Commissions
I work exclusively from photographs and I can make a good copy of anything in print. The more detail in the photo, the more detail in the finished drawing. If you want a specific character drawing you can email the photo to me. Single characters are best on A4 size and multiple characters can go up to A3 size. Reenactors are welcome in the category of military personnel.
